Facial implants are used for strengthening and balancing facial features. Chin enlargements and cheek implants help create or restore desirable contouring of the face, strengthening, and balancing facial features.

How is the procedure performed?

This procedure is typically performed in our Reno outpatient surgery center under general anesthetic. Incisions are made in inconspicuous locations to augment and refine facial structures. Alloplastic or Injectable implants can be used for this procedure. Injectable implants may be temporary and sometimes require repeated treatments.

How long will the procedure take?

The procedure takes between one and two hours with an additional hour of recovery time before leaving the Reno surgery center.

How much recovery time should I expect?

Depending on your profession and need for personal discretion, you may need to allow 7 to 10 days before returning to work. Full results are expected within 3 months.

What are the typical results from the use of facial implants?

Results may vary, but typically, refinement, enhancement, balancing, and strengthening of facial structures is achieved. Dr. Janiga will give you a more realistic expectation of your personal outcome during your consultation.
