What is Liposuction?

Sometimes called liposculpture, this is a procedure where Dr. Timothy Janiga removes the body’s own excess fat deposits in your targeted areas. This slims and reshapes the area to your desired cosmetic outcome. More and more, men are turning to this procedure to slim and tone their physique.

Liposuction and liposculpture are ideal for men looking to see more definition in their bodies. Men commonly do liposuction on their flanks to slim their waist line. Other areas Dr. Janiga performs liposuction on are the inguinal area, stomach, thighs, hips, buttocks, back and chest area.

The Procedure

Liposuction and liposculpture are largely the same for men and women. Patients undergoing liposuction for small areas can have it done under local anesthesia in our Reno offices.  For larger areas, men can have general anesthesia at a Reno outpatient surgery center.
