Morpheus8 is traditionally an in-office procedure that is performed with a topical anesthetic being applied for 30 minutes before the procedure. The Morpheus8 uses microneedling technology with the addition of radiofrequency heating in the tips of the pins to fractionally coagulate the deep tissue, resurface the top layer of the skin, and give deep stimulation to collagen and elastin production. Patients may feel a mild prickling sensation as the tiny needles puncture the skin, but the topical numbing cream will keep you comfortable.
