An in-office facelift is performed at our Reno office in our dedicated operating room using local anesthesia. Topical numbing medication is used to help numb the skin before injecting the local anesthetic. Incisions are made in front of the ear and around the earlobe before the excess skin of the face and neck is elevated, tightened, and repositioned into a more youthful position. Small deposits of excess fat will also be removed to reduce the appearance of a double chin if needed. The procedure takes approximately two hours, with most mini facelift patients able to go home immediately afterward.
