During a BodyTite minimally invasive procedure, our board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Timothy Janiga, uses Radiofrequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) radiofrequency energy as an alternative to traditional liposuction and plastic surgery to remove excess fat. After local anesthesia and sedative are administered, a port site is made, and a wand is inserted under the skin’s surface. The BodyTite device is moved over the target area, using RF energy to melt away stubborn fat deposits, tighten skin, and contour your body. This is usually followed by liposuction through the same incision site to remove the melted fat cells and further contour the area.
