CoolSculpting® Elite is a non-invasive procedure performed in our Reno offices and takes about 35-45 minutes for each targeted area to complete. Before the procedure, the team at JanigaMDs works with patients to map out the areas where CoolSculpting® Elite would be most beneficial for you. The third-generation vacuum applicator is then applied to deliver controlled cooling. The controlled cooling technology only destroys fat cells in the designated areas and will not harm surrounding tissues. During treatment, patients can relax, choose to read, or check emails.
There is no downtime, so men are able to return to work and go about their normal daily activities immediately after the procedure. Mild redness or soreness may occur in the treatment area, but will improve within a day or two after treatment.
Some patients may need multiple treatment sessions for optimal results. How many treatments you need depends on how much excess fat is present and the number of areas being treated.
Results start to be realized within a few weeks of the CoolSculpting® Elite procedure and continue to improve over a few months as the cooled fat cells begin to flush out of the body.
