FaceTite can be performed with local anesthesia and light sedation at our Reno office. Once you’re ready, Dr. Timothy Janiga will make a small incision in the treatment area to insert a small wand that delivers RF energy to the deep facial tissues. The wand generates heat to reduce excess fat and improve skin elasticity. Afterward, patients can immediately return home.
You’re free to return to normal activities shortly after FaceTite, with minimal downtime and some swelling and bruising possible. Over-the-counter pain medication and cold compresses can be used during the first week to alleviate any discomfort and minimize swelling. A compression garment may also be provided for the first night or two to help with swelling. Strenuous exercise and heavy lifting should be avoided for 2 weeks, or until patients have been cleared by Dr. Janiga at a follow-up visit.
