Dr. Timothy Janiga can perform AccuTite in our office procedure suite under local anesthesia or in the operating room under general anesthesia in order to combine it with other procedures. During the procedure, Dr. Janiga makes a port site to insert the small tip of the AccuTite wand. He uses the AccuTite handheld applicator and places it within the treatment area. The controlled radiofrequency energy will transfer from the device into the skin tissues to melt any fat and tighten the underlying tissues. The system monitors the temperature of both the device and the surrounding tissues in real-time to ensure controlled heating of the fat and skin for optimal tightening. The AccuTite procedure takes between 20 and 30 minutes per area to complete.
Since AccuTite is a minimally invasive treatment, recovery is quicker than more extensive surgery procedures.
