Dr. Timothy Janiga will first make a small incision in the desired area, through which the AccuTite cannula can be inserted. He will then use the AccuTite handheld applicator to remove fat and tighten loose skin with controlled radiofrequency energy that creates heat throughout the treatment area. The radiofrequency energy melts fat in the targeted tissues for easier removal and triggers collagen remodeling in the deep layers to tighten the skin without damaging the skin’s vital structures. The system monitors the temperature of the device and tissues in real-time to ensure adequate heating of the fat and skin for optimal tightening. The entire procedure takes between 20 and 30 minutes per area to complete.
Because this is a minimally invasive treatment that only requires local anesthesia, it can be performed in the office.
