What is EmbraceRF?
As we age, the skin along the jawline begins to droop and we develop skin laxity of the neck skin, jowl, and waddle area. In years past, the only treatment for this was a surgical facelift, but not everybody is ready for that or interested in cosmetic surgery. A great alternative is radiofrequency treatments.
EmbraceRF is a minimally invasive radiofrequency skin tightening procedure with no incision scars. It tightens loose skin on the jawline and neck and removes excess fat under the chin and along the jawline. EmbraceRF can be done in the office under local anesthesia and is a safe effective treatment for facial aging, creating a tighter and more youthful jawline and neck.
The Procedure
EmbraceRF is radio-frequency technology and is the most advanced procedure currently available for non-surgical skin tightening of the face and neck. It uses directional heat for the deep layers of the skin to mold the fat and stimulate collagen and tightening. The procedure is usually performed in the office under local anesthesia. You will have topical numbing placed for about 20 minutes prior to starting. The topical numbing medication will be removed, and local anesthesia will be placed in the treatment area by Dr. Timothy Janiga.
After you are thoroughly numb, your EmbraceRF procedure will start. Two separate types of radiofrequency devices will be used during your EmbraceRF procedure. First, the FaceTite wand will be used to firm sagging skin and melt stubborn fat cells. Second, focused treatment with Morpheus8 will give you added collagen stimulation and improvement in skin tone and texture. This dual approach is available only with EmbraceRF technology. Dr. Tim will treat the lower part of the face, the jawline, jowls, the submental fat pad, and the neck to give you maximum tightening and lower facial fat reduction.

Results & Recovery
Recovery is 2 to 5 days depending on your social obligations. Most patients only have mild discomfort for about one week after their RF treatment and mild redness that might last a few days. If you are looking to have this performed before a big event, we recommend leaving 2-3 weeks for full recovery and results to take effect. After your procedure, you will notice immediate tightening of the skin which will continue to improve over the next months.
