What is a Facelift?
A facelift is a procedure that can be performed in the operating room under general anesthesia or in some cases may be done in the office under local anesthesia. Most people are not aware that this procedure often has the significant benefit of reducing the sagging skin of the neck also. The incision is made in front and back of the ear and care is taken to disguise as much of that incision within the folds and contours of the ear as possible. The tissue under the skin is tightened to help contour the neck and face naturally, giving a refreshed look to both the face and the neck.
