What is Jeuveau®?
At Janiga MDs, we offer a range of injectable treatments that help our patients to achieve a youthful look. The latest treatment is Jeuveau®, also called #NEWTOX, which is the latest FDA-approved form of botulinum toxin. Jeuveau® is the latest advancement in Botox-like products. Jeuveau® is specifically formulated to treat moderate-to-severe frown lines by blocking the signal from the nerves to the muscles.
Jeuveau® has been shown to improve the look of frown lines for three to four months. At which point, patients are encouraged to receive repeat treatments in order to maintain their results. While Jeuveau® is like brands like Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®, it is the first product that is exclusively dedicated to aesthetics. Jeuveau results in a very natural look that smooths out frown lines.
The Procedure
Anesthesia is not required for Jeuveau®. Instead, the injection area will be prepared. Depending on your aesthetic goals, multiple injections may be required to obtain the desired results. Both men and women benefit from Jeuveau® treatments. As a bonus, starting these treatments early and maintaining the use of Jeuveau® can help to slow down the formation of frown lines. Dr. Jennifer Janiga and her associates will create your personalized Jeuveau® treatment plan so you can get the best results.
Results & Recovery
Patients may experience some slight bruising and swelling at the injection sites. The Jeuveau® treatment session typically only lasts about 10 minutes. Patients start to notice results within five to seven days. Recovery is minimal. Dr. Janiga or her associates will go over what to expect at your consultation.
Schedule a Consultation
The Jeuveau® treatment is performed in the Janiga MDs Reno Offices. This is a quick procedure, only taking about 10 minutes. Since this is nonsurgical, there is no official downtime and patients are free to return to their normal activities right away.
