WHAT IS SKINVIVE?

Skinvive™ by Juvéderm® is a gel like injectable that is used to improve skin smoothness and hydration on the cheeks. THE PROCEDURE

Before your appointment, notify your doctor of any medication you are on to avoid excessive bruising with injections. Your provider will begin by cleaning your face with an antibacterial wipe. Next, the gel will be injected into the superficial dermis with numerous minuscule injection sites equidistant across the target area. These small injections are a part of the microdroplet technique intended to create a uniform distributed result. The entire process will take less than 30 min and your results will last approximately six months.

RESULTS AND RECOVERY

After treatment, you will see the injection points for a few hours on the surface of the skin. Shortly after the injection points fade, you’ll begin to notice the results. Initially, there may be some redness, swelling, bruising or tenderness, but this will subside within the first week. You will notice a smoother skin texture, softening of fine lines, improvement in the cobblestoning of the skin, and a hydrated glow after those first few days of healing.
