Your Fat Injection Procedure
Dr. Janiga performs fat grafting in the office (hands and face) or as an outpatient surgical procedure using general anesthesia (buttocks, breast). Once a donor area of the body has been selected for harvesting, the fat is removed through the process of liposuction. After harvesting, the fat is processed for transfer, it is then loaded into syringes to be used during the injection process. Dr. Janiga preps the recipient area, and the fat is transferred in small amounts until the desired result is achieved.
Dr. Janiga has found this procedure to be effective for both men and women as early as their mid-30s for certain areas that may begin showing signs of natural aging and volume loss, and it is also an effective anti-aging treatment for men and women into their 70’s.
