"Dr. Jennifer is an excellent physician. I could not have been more happy with my time with her. I've seen Dr. Jennifer twice -- and in both occurrences she truly listened to my concerns. The treatment she provided was excellent and effective. As long as she is practicing in Reno, I will be her patient!" - Anonymous

The Procedure

Anesthesia is not required with Dysport®. Instead, the area will be prepared for injection. Depending on your desired results, multiple injections may be required. Once the Dysport® is injected, it takes two to seven days for muscles to be inhibited and to see full results. Dysport® generally last for approximately three to four months.

Comparing Injectables

There are four main types of neuromodulators: Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and Xeomin®.

At Janiga MDs, Dr. Timothy Janiga specializes in plastic surgery and Dr. Jennifer Janiga specializes in dermatology, giving their practice a unique, comprehensive perspective on their patients’ cosmetic needs in the Reno, Nevada area.

Recovery & Results

Patients may experience a small pinpoint bruise at the site of injection. This is not common but can happen. When injected, Dysport® takes about 20 minutes to be absorbed, so you will see small areas of swelling where the injections were placed for that 20 minutes. We ask you to refrain from vigorous physical activity for four hours after the procedure.
