The Ins and Outs of AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite

The Ins and Outs of AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite

As technology advances, new nonsurgical options for contouring the face and body become more widely available and effective. AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite are three options that are available to patients to tighten skin, contour the body or face and reduce signs of aging. If you’re curious about these procedures, here are some things you should know before scheduling your consultation.

What are AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite Treatments?

AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite are nonsurgical treatment options that work to tighten the skin and reduce unwanted fat in the body or face. These treatments are commonly chosen to treat signs of aging, including mild sagging or loose skin and crepey skin texture, as well as contour the chosen treatment area. Each of these devices are produced by InMode and are specialized for various treatment areas.

AccuTite is the smallest device of the three. It is designed to treat precise areas and create subtle yet transformative results for various areas of the face and body. AccuTite can be used to treat the brows, nasolabial folds, hands, knees, or other small areas.

BodyTite is the largest of the three devices as it is used to tighten skin, reduce fat, and contour the larger surfaces of the body and create a “shrink wrap” effect. It is used to treat the arms, abdomen, breasts, hips, buttocks, or thighs, among other areas.

FaceTite is similar to BodyTite, but as the name suggests, it is used to tighten skin and address aging signs of the face. In particular, FaceTite is commonly used to define the jawline and treat mild to moderate jowls and sagging through the lower part of the face and neck.

How Do AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite Work?

AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite work using radiofrequency technology to deliver heat to the entire thickness of the skin inducing collagen production and skin tightening.  It can be followed with liposuction depending on your specific needs. This process uses thermal energy beneath the skin, which both tightens the skin and melts unwanted fat. The liquefied fat can then be removed using liposuction.

During AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite, a handpiece is used to direct radiofrequency energy below the skin through a probe inserted just under the surface through a small hole or port site. On the surface of the skin, a sensor detects the heat delivered to the tissues, so that your physician can monitor the temperature keeping it in the safest and most effective range.

How Long Do Results Last?

The collagen that is stimulated with radiofrequency heat is permanently yours, and you will continue to age over time.  We lose 1-3% of our collagen per year and the Tite procedures increase your collagen to a higher point for that aging to pull from.  Because fat cells do not regenerate, the fat reduction results from AccuTite, BodyTite, and FaceTite are permanent. This means that the contouring effects of your treatment will remain over time. While it is possible to gain weight in the future if you do not maintain a regular exercise routine and balanced diet, fat will be stored in other areas.
