Lemmon Valley is a census-designated place in the Washoe County of Nevada. It is a northern suburb of the city of Reno and is part of the Reno-Sparks Metropolitan Statistical Area. Before 2010 it was listed by the US Census Bureau as part of the Lemmon Valley – Golden Valley census-designated place. The approximately 1.2 square miles of water in the area consists mainly of the Swan Lake Nature Study Area which is a small wetland conservation area home to several bird species.
