What is a Thigh Lift?

The Procedure
The thigh lift procedure is performed by Dr. Timothy Janiga using general anesthesia at an accredited surgical center in Reno. Depending on the patient’s anatomy as well as their desired results, thigh lift techniques can be tailored to best serve each patient. Depending on the location of loose skin on the thighs, patients may employ a medial thigh lift surgery, vertical thigh lift, or a mini thigh lift.
An incision is made along the fold of the groin, which makes it easily hidden, allowing Dr. Timothy Janiga to remove fat and “lift” the sagging skin tighter.

Results & Recovery
Recovery involves some swelling and bruising that can last up to three weeks. In any procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat there is some discomfort and limited movement to be expected– be patient as your body heals. Most people can return to work within one to two weeks, with full results expected in nine to 12 months.
